These terms govern the use of dominiolowcost.it and the purchase of services offered by REAL TECH SRL, VAT no. IT04143630160, registered office at via Alessandro Manzoni 15. By placing an order or creating an account you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
1. 1. Scope
The provider offers registration, renewal and transfer of domain names across hundreds of extensions, DNS management, email for domains, WHOIS data protection and web hosting plans, with the features described on the website at the time of the order.
Domains are registered through registrars accredited with the relevant registration authorities. For each extension, the rules of the registry that manages it apply in addition to these terms.
2. 2. Customer account
To purchase services you must create an account with truthful, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and for keeping it updated.
Access is protected by a password and can be strengthened with passkeys and two-factor authentication (TOTP). You must keep your credentials safe and notify us without delay of any unauthorised use of your account. Operations carried out with your credentials are deemed to have been performed by you.
3. 3. Orders and prices
All published prices are in euro and include VAT. They are the same for every customer and do not depend on individual negotiation.
Some extensions have a promotional first-year price: the renewal price, which applies from the following years, is always shown next to the registration price.
The contract is concluded when the order is confirmed and payment has been received. Each order comes with a proforma invoice; the tax invoice is issued by our billing department once payment has been collected.
We may change our price lists at any time. Changes do not affect orders already paid, but apply to subsequent renewals.
4. 4. Payments
You can pay by card, SEPA direct debit or PayPal through Stripe, by bank transfer, or using the prepaid credit in your account.
When paying by bank transfer, the service is activated only once the amount has actually been credited. Until then the requested domain is not reserved and could be registered by someone else.
Prepaid credit can be used for any order or renewal and does not bear interest.
5. 5. Domain registration, renewal and expiry
The domain is registered in your name: you are the registrant and you retain ownership of it. You are responsible for choosing the name and for making sure it does not infringe third-party rights such as trademarks, trade names or personal names.
The registration lasts for the period purchased. You can enable auto-renewal: in that case, before expiry, the amount is charged to your prepaid credit or saved payment method. If the renewal fails we will notify you, but renewing on time remains your responsibility.
After expiry the domain may enter a grace or redemption period, whose rules and length vary by extension. Restoring a domain during the redemption period involves an additional fee set by the registry, which is shown to you before you confirm.
At the end of these periods the domain is deleted and becomes available to anyone. We are not liable for the loss of a domain that was not renewed in time.
6. 6. Transfers
To transfer a domain to us you need the authorisation code (AuthInfo or EPP) provided by your current provider and, where required, the domain must be unlocked. For many extensions the transfer includes a one-year renewal.
You can transfer your domains away at any time by requesting the authorisation code from the control panel. Completion times depend on the registry and the gaining registrar and are outside our control.
7. 7. Hosting and acceptable use
Hosting plans include the resources listed on the plan page, such as a free SSL certificate, mailboxes, MySQL databases, FTP access, PHP version choice, cron jobs, one-click WordPress installation and backups.
You may not use the services for unlawful or harmful activities, including: sending spam, phishing, distributing malware, infringing copyright or trademarks, illegal content, attacks on third-party systems, and resource usage that impairs the server for other customers.
Backups are an additional safeguard and do not replace the copies of your data that you are expected to keep yourself.
8. 8. Email service
Email is not included in the domain registration. It is activated by purchasing, for the individual domain, one or more mailbox packs (add-ons) with a yearly term; packs and additional space purchased for the same domain add up. Within these limits you create and manage mailboxes and forwards yourself from the panel.
The email service follows the domain: when the domain expires, or the last active pack if it expires first, email is deactivated immediately, with no grace period. From then on messages are neither received nor sent and the mailboxes cannot be accessed.
Mailboxes, messages and forwards are kept for 30 days after deactivation: if you renew the domain or the pack within this period, the service resumes as it was. After 30 days they are permanently deleted and can no longer be recovered.
If a pack expires while others remain active, existing mailboxes are not deleted, but you cannot create new ones beyond the remaining limit. We notify you by email before each pack expires; renewing on time and keeping a copy of the messages you need remain your responsibility.
9. 9. WHOIS protection
On extensions that allow it, we offer free data protection in the public WHOIS, replacing your contact details with forwarding data. The service is not available for .it and .eu, which follow their own rules.
Protection does not change domain ownership and may be withdrawn if required by a competent authority or in case of unlawful use of the domain.
10. 10. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
Domain registration, renewal and transfer are digital services performed immediately with the registry at your request and with your express consent: once the request has been sent to the registry, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised and the amount is not refundable, under the exceptions of article 59 of the Consumer Code.
For hosting you may withdraw within 14 days, unless you asked for the service to be activated immediately, giving your express consent and acknowledging the loss of the right of withdrawal once the service has been performed.
To withdraw, write to noreply@dominiolowcost.it stating the service concerned.
11. 11. Limitation of liability
We strive to keep the services running continuously, but we cannot rule out interruptions due to maintenance, failures, cyberattacks or force majeure, nor disruptions caused by registries, registrars or third-party suppliers.
Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned in the twelve months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of data.
This does not affect the mandatory rights granted to consumers by law.
12. 12. Suspension of services
We may suspend or restrict a service in case of breach of these terms, non-payment, false or unverifiable registrant data, a request from an authority or a registry, or when use of the service endangers the security of our systems or of third parties.
Where possible we will notify you in advance, stating the reason and the steps needed to restore the service.
13. 13. Term and termination
Each service lasts for the period stated in the order and ends at expiry unless renewed. You can disable auto-renewal or close your account at any time from the control panel or by writing to us.
Closing your account does not delete active domains before their expiry unless you ask us to. We recommend transferring your domains or downloading your hosting data before closing the account.
14. 14. Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction; in all other cases, the court of the provider’s registered office has exclusive jurisdiction.
Consumers resident in the European Union may use the European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform provided by the European Commission. Our email address for such communications is noreply@dominiolowcost.it.
15. 15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in legislation, technology or our services. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
Material changes are notified to you by email and apply to orders and renewals made after their publication.
